Rammstein Rum is produced by the band in collaboration with the Danish company 1423.
Different rums from different corners of the Caribbean are used for this.
Distillates from Trinidad, Jamaica and Guyana are aged for up to 12 years in former Bourbon barrels and then married with Rammstein rum.
The two distillates from Guyana and Jamaica are made in a pot still and the Trinidad rum in a column still.
An olfactory test will reveal the first signs of wood and smoke.
The taste is notable for its characteristic spiciness, soft fruitiness, some sweetness and woody smoke.
