Glasgow 1770 Triple Distilled Cognac Cask Finish 52% (Batch1)
A limited edition of 1576 bottles with an alcohol percentage of 52%. A marriage of three casks 18/965 - 18/967, our delicate and floral Triple Distilled spirit was filled on February 3, 2018, into ex-bourbon casks that were first filled and laid to rest for two years and ten months before moving to French Cognac puncheon casks on December 17, 2020, for two years and six months. Bottled on July 12, 2023, this is a delicate and smooth single malt brimming with notes of orchard fruit, rich vanilla, and citrus. This is our first release of a triple distilled single malt finished in cognac casks. The apple and pear notes that are often found in our Signature Range Triple Distilled single malt are accentuated and highlighted with the benefit of the Cognac Cask finish, adding ever more layers of fresh green apples and poached pears.
