The Blind Tiger Piper Cubeba is matured for six months in used American oak Bourbon barrels to create a refined limited edition gin.
Botanicals: Juniper berries, coriander seed, malted barley, licorice root, angelica root, orris root, lemon peel, sweet orange peel, bitter orange peel, orange blossom, ginger rhizome, green cardamom, cube berries, lavender and a secret Belgian botanical.
Process: the botanicals (except the cubeberries) are soaked and distilled in a copper pot (400l). We add the double distilled cubeb pepper afterwards. Same process as Blind Tiger Piper Cubeba, but we added a 6 month aging process to Oak Bourbon Barrels. After 6 months, this gin is filtered, bottled and numbered.
Perfect serving: Blind Tiger Liquid Gold should be tasted slowly in the bottle or with ice. This is more than just your regular barrel-aged gin.
The lingering, rich, velvety and complex nose of lemon, vanilla, honey and oak turns into a warming softness of buttery orange and floral hints across the tongue, with a long, bourbon-like spiciness.
