We are pleased to announce the arrival of the Belgian Owl 5 years old - Pedro Ximénez Cask Finish. The second and last exclusive and limited edition of Belgian Owl PX Cask Finish!
Etienne Bouillon told us that this limited edition would consist of 2 different versions: The first version consisted of a finish of less than 1 month in first Fill Pedro Ximénez barrels of Spanish oak. This changed the color and taste of the Whiskey naturally. This Whiskey is much darker in color and much more intense in taste.
This new second version consists of finishing for more than 4 months in the same barrels and therefore has an even more intense flavor and much more finesse.
• Nose: vanilla, cherry and brioche
• Taste: Morello cherry, chocolate, ginger and nectarine
• Aftertaste: a soft, round and long aftertaste
"This 5-year-old Belgian Owl matured for 146 days in a Pedro taste of Pedro barrels, these are mainly vanilla, cinnamon and ginger.
