They have really created something unique with this limited edition. A 6 year old with a lot of extra juice and strength in the ex-Sautes and ex-sherry casks.
In particular, the whiskey spent 3 years in ex-bourbon casks, which previously contained Makers Mark bourbon from the United States.
Since then it has spent 3 years in French barrels, which previously contained Sautés, and Spanish barrels, which previously contained Pedro Ximenez sherry.

The financing will allow Stauning to produce 50 times the 15,000 liters it currently produces per year.
Stauning was started in 2005 by nine people and is now expanding the number of stills from 4 to 20.
